A belief system is a belief that someone follows in life and that they use to achieve greatness. One positive influence belief system can have on their followers is to strive for success and don't let anyone stop you from following your dreams. One negative influence belief system can have on their followers is to stop achieving your dreams and worry only about yourself. The main tenets of Hinduism and Buddhism are to pray and follow your job in life and to accept what you have. Siddartha accepts that he is rich and doing his job in life. In my perspective Siddartha has a negative influences because he only worries about himself and it impacts his life because he doesn't know what is going on around him.
